Test #1 - The Test Of Our Walk Or Conduct

I John 3:10

1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Jn 3:10  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Jesus Said;

Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Mat 7:18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Mat 7:19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Test #2 - The Test Of Our Love Towards Those That Are Saved

I John 3:14

1Jn 3:14  We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1Jn 3:15  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Jesus Said:

Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Joh 13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Test #3 - The Test Of Our Own Heart

I John 3:19

1Jn 3:19  And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 1Jn 3:20  For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 1Jn 3:21  Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

Test#4 - The Test Of His Spirit  With In Us

I John 3:24

1Jn 3:24  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Jesus Said:

Joh 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Joh 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.   

Joh 15:26  But when the Comforter  is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Test#5 - The Test Of  Our Testimony Or Confession

I John 4:2    

I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Jn 4:2  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Jesus Said:

Joh 15:26  But when the Comforter  is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Test#6 - The Test of Our Power In Christ

I John 4:4

1Jn 4:4  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.   

Test#7 - The Test Of Our  Fellowship

I John  4:6

1Jn 4:5  They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 1Jn 4:6  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.   

Plain And Simple:

God said that you can have a “Know So Salvation"

1Jn 5:12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1Jn 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know (Not Guess!!!) that ye have eternal life, and that ye mabelieve on the name of the Son of God.

1Jn 5:14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

1Jn 5:15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Anyone, who is truly born-again, or saved, should always possess a majority, if not all of the above 7 traits or life styles.  This is not a random statement on my part, but a true summation that is made from the Holy Scripture we have quoted in this article. If you fail this simple  test, I urge you to seek the Lord for a real new birth experience!
